Newburgh Blooms!

The new dawn blooms as we free it.

For there is always light if only we’re brave enough to see it.

If only we’re brave enough to be it.

-Amanda Gorman, Poet Laureate

The Conservancy invites Newburgh neighbors, businesses and government representatives to bring beauty and color to our City by planting flowers with us each spring and fall.

Let us know where flowers are needed most in Newburgh.

The perennials and pollinator plots we plant together will remind us year after year that we are working together to make our Newburgh communities more delightful places to live and work.

Each fall, the Conservancy has loads of bright "Jetfire" mini daffodil bulbs to fill gardens and flower boxes, parks and street sides, on public and private green spaces throughout the City of Newburgh and in our neighboring Towns of Newburgh and New Windsor.

Planting bulbs is a great way to get outdoors and put a little hope in the ground for a brighter year ahead. We’ve chosen bulbs that thrive in a variety of soils and environments, are resistant to deer and other critters, and are easy to plant.

Best of all the bulbs will multiply every year, bringing more light and joy to the early weeks of spring.

Please join us in lighting up greater Newburgh from the ground up!

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.
